Is a colleague leaving, or should someone temporarily lose access? Then you deactivate or remove them. Hyre neatly stops everything still running under their name, such as campaigns and connections. Conversations and contacts stay.
Before you start
You are an Owner. You cannot deactivate or remove yourself.

Choose Deactivate for a temporary absence or when in doubt. Choose Remove from Organization when someone leaves for good.
Step by step
Go to Settings › Organization Members.
Click the three dots next to your colleague › Deactivate or Remove from Organization.
A window opens listing everything still running for this colleague: campaigns, mailboxes, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and the notetaker.
Confirm. Hyre stops and disconnects everything. If something cannot be stopped straight away, it stays in the list with a button to stop it (Stop, Disconnect or Switch off).
With Remove from Organization, your colleague is only removed once nothing is left open.
Good to know
Campaigns in a shared team that belong to another colleague keep running.
Reactivate only gives access back. Your colleague then reconnects their mailbox, LinkedIn and WhatsApp and switches the notetaker back on. After reconnecting, their messages come back.
The last owner cannot be deactivated. Make someone else owner first with Change Role.
Billing: a removed member no longer counts as a seat. A deactivated member does. See Subscription and billing.
Their AI assistant (such as Claude) can no longer reach Hyre after deactivation.
