What you see
Claude shows an error as soon as it tries to use Hyre, or says the Hyre tools are unavailable.
Claude still shows Hyre as connected, but nothing happens.
Under Customize › Connectors, Hyre only shows Disconnect, and you can't tell whether you're connected.
Run agent in Hyre opens Claude, but Claude can't fetch your data.
Why this happens
The connection between Claude and Hyre runs on a sign-in that Claude keeps. It can become invalid, for example after an outage, when you signed out, when your account was deactivated or when you switched to another Hyre account. Claude doesn't always notice, and keeps showing "connected".
How to fix it
Sign in to Hyre (app.hyre.io) in the browser you use Claude in. Using the desktop app? Sign in to Hyre in your default browser.
In Claude, open Customize › Connectors and click Hyre.
See Reconnect? Click it. Only see Disconnect? Click Disconnect, then Connect.
Sign in to Hyre and click Allow.
Open a new chat, switch Hyre on under + › Connectors, and ask: "Who am I on Hyre?"
Hyre no longer in your list at all? Add it again as in Connect Hyre to Claude. On Claude Team or Enterprise, ask the Owner of your Claude organization.
ChatGPT or Copilot? Create the connection to Hyre again in your app or agent, and sign in again.
Working again?
Claude answers "Who am I on Hyre?" with your name, your organization and what is connected. Then everything works again, including your scheduled routines.
Prevent it
Use Claude in the same browser you're signed in to Hyre with.
After we tell you about an outage: reconnect straight away.
Scheduled routines suddenly doing nothing? Check the connection with the steps above first.
Still not working?
Error or white page when reconnecting? This mostly happens outside the Claude app, for example from a terminal or code editor. Reconnect through claude.ai or the Claude app.
Tools visible but with a lock? The Owner of your Claude organization controls the permissions. See Add Hyre to Claude Team or Enterprise.
