What can you ask Hyre in Claude?

Example questions for Hyre in Claude: look up candidates, find past conversations, write emails, plan meetings and update your ATS.

Written by Robin Alcedo Overbosch

With Hyre connected, Claude can reach your ATS and CRM, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, meetings and phone calls, calendar and tasks. So you can ask for much more than the agents on the Agents page.

Before you start

Examples

Looking things up - "Who am I on Hyre?" - "Look up Jane Smith in my ATS and summarise what we discussed." - "What did we discuss with this client over the past month?" Handy when a colleague is on holiday: you get a meeting prep without calling them. - "Which leads did I miss in my inbox over the last 30 days?"

Writing and planning - "Write an introduction email for the Senior Account Manager vacancy to this candidate, with their salary and notice period." Claude prepares a draft; you send it. - "Schedule an intro call with this candidate next week at a time I'm free." - "Create a task to call this candidate back on Friday."

Updating your ATS - "Update all my LinkedIn conversations from today in my ATS." - "Take the meetings from the last 14 days and write the summaries that aren't in my ATS yet." - "Create these candidates in my ATS" (with an Excel file attached).

Matching and recruiting - "Which candidates in my ATS fit this vacancy?" - "Run Start je dag." Or any other routine or agent by name.

Tips for good answers

  • Name the period and source. "The meetings from the last 14 days" works better than "my meetings". What you put in decides what comes out.

  • Mention Hyre if Claude doesn't use it by itself: "Use Hyre to find my meetings of today."

  • Read before you approve. Claude asks permission for every change to your ATS (unless you set it otherwise). Read what it says and answer what Claude asks.

  • Not always the biggest model. Scheduling a meeting takes little thinking. Hyre's agents already use an economical model for writing to your ATS.

  • Slow or stuck in a loop? Stop, and start again in a new chat. The first time always takes a bit longer.

Good to know

  • Claude only sees what you are allowed to see in Hyre.

  • Claude prepares messages as drafts. Nothing goes to a candidate or client without your approval.

  • Changes to your ATS through Claude count toward the AI write limit (50 a day for Employees). See How Hyre works with your ATS or CRM.

  • A fixed daily task? Set it up as a routine. See Set up routines in Claude.
