Hyre connects to a long list of standard ATS and CRM systems. For most of them the general steps apply. Below are the things that differ per system.
Before you start
Look up your system under Settings › Integrations. If it is in the list, you can connect it. Use the ATS Systems or CRM Systems filter.
System not in the list? Send us a message through Helpdesk.
RecruitCRM
You need an API key and your company slug. Paste the key without the "API-token:" prefix.
The API is only available on a paid RecruitCRM plan.
RecruitCRM is both ATS and CRM. Connect the CRM side too, with the same key.
Hyre writes a phone call as a call log (with direction and duration), a meeting as a meeting with all participants, and everything else as a note. A meeting sends no calendar invite.
If your account has call types that name a channel, such as "Teams Meeting" or "LI-bericht", Hyre uses them.
The full transcript (if switched on) is attached as an .rtf file, because RecruitCRM doesn't accept .txt.
Searching RecruitCRM works best on last name or email address.
Salesforce, Byner and MySolution
A Salesforce admin first installs a package. Hyre walks you through it under Connect. Allow a few days for the first connection.
Byner and MySolution each have their own card, because they run on Salesforce. Using Connexys on Salesforce? Connect through the Salesforce card.
A meeting or intake with a start and end time becomes an Event, everything else a completed Task, with the activity type from your own list that fits.
Hyre can create the Hyre profile field for you: Settings › Fields › Create it for me. The connection's Salesforce user must be allowed to change setup.
"Insufficient access" or a warning on the card? The connection's Salesforce user is missing a right. The card names it. Ask your Salesforce admin.
Reconnecting after an API block, or when the connection's user has left: an owner or admin clicks ⋯ › Disconnect, waits a few seconds and connects again with Connect, using their own Salesforce admin account. Reading everything again can take a few hours.
Vincere
You connect by signing in to Vincere from Connect.
Per conversation Hyre writes one Vincere activity for all candidates and contacts together, with the KPI action and category from your own account that fit. Never a pipeline step such as interview, CV sent or placement.
Hyre doesn't write email conversations to Vincere, because Vincere records email itself.
Notes from Vincere come in per candidate; a new note on a candidate that didn't change otherwise can take up to a week.
Loxo
One activity (person event) per conversation, with the activity type from your own account that fits. If you have your own type for Hyre, for example "Hyre notetaker", Hyre uses it.
Hyre never picks a type that moves a candidate to another pipeline stage. If Hyre can't be sure, it writes nothing.
Spott
One note per conversation, linked to every candidate, contact and, if you name it, the job.
Hyre doesn't write email and WhatsApp conversations to Spott, because Spott already shows those messages.
Spott doesn't take a transcript file; the link in the note opens the transcript in Hyre.
HubSpot, Attio and other CRMs
Hyre writes conversations as a note, call or meeting on the contact.
The check whether your colleagues exist as users (see Record owners) doesn't run here. Attio has no owner per person.
Other ATS systems
For a system few customers use yet, we test reading first. Writing sometimes follows later. Ask through Helpdesk for the state of your ATS.
We generally don't connect a self-built ATS. See Own ATS: connecting your own ATS.
