By default Hyre puts the summary of a conversation in your ATS. If you want the full transcript too, an owner or admin switches it on with one toggle.
Before you start
You are an owner or admin.
Step by step
Go to Settings › Organization.
Switch on Include the full transcript in ATS activities. It saves right away.
From then on, every meeting, phone call and recording that is written to your ATS also carries its transcript.
What goes into your ATS
The note itself stays the summary, with the line showing kind of conversation, date, duration and the link to Hyre.
The transcript is added as a file (a .txt file) on the person. Each block has a time and a speaker. For phone calls, your name and the name of the linked candidate or contact are in it.
For RecruitCRM the file is an .rtf, because RecruitCRM doesn't accept .txt. Spott doesn't take text files; there the link to Hyre opens the transcript.
If your ATS refuses the file, the note is still there. You can always open the transcript through the link to Hyre.
Good to know
Which to choose? The summary is enough for most teams and keeps your ATS tidy. The transcript is useful if you want everything in your own system, for example in case you ever stop using Hyre. It does put more personal data in your ATS: keep that in mind for your retention periods.
Email and LinkedIn conversations never go in as full text, only as a summary.
The setting applies to conversations written after you switch it on. Conversations written earlier don't get a transcript afterwards.
If you edit the note later through Hyre, the transcript is not uploaded again.
