Set up your email signature

Create a signature per mailbox or paste your existing HTML signature, so emails from Hyre look the same as from your mail app.

Written by Robin Alcedo Overbosch

Emails you send from Hyre (replies in the Inbox, recap emails, AI drafts) only get a signature if you set one up here. Do this on day one.

Before you start

  • Your mailbox is connected under Settings › Channels. Without a mailbox you cannot create a signature.

  • Handy: your current signature from Outlook or Gmail.

Step by step

  1. Go to Settings › Signatures. You see a block per connected mailbox.

Settings › Signatures with the editor, the Visual, HTML and Insert image buttons, and Live Preview
  2. Choose how to build it:

    • Visual: type your signature and format it with the buttons (bold, italic, link). Use Insert image to add a logo or photo.

    • HTML: paste the HTML of your existing signature. This copies it one to one.

  3. Check the result under Live Preview.

  4. Leave Add email signature by default ticked. New emails and replies from this mailbox then get your signature automatically. You can still switch it off for a single message before sending.

  5. Click Save Signature.

Good to know

  • Several mailboxes? Each mailbox has its own signature. Hyre uses the signature of the mailbox you send from.

  • Getting the HTML from Outlook or Gmail: open a new email with your signature, copy it and paste it into Visual. If the layout breaks, ask your IT team for the HTML version.

  • Tip from the app: add images in Visual, then switch to HTML to fine-tune the size. A table layout survives both views.

  • Image not coming through? Upload it with Insert image instead of linking to an image on the web.

  • You never get a double signature: Hyre adds it once when sending.
