Meeting Prep Agent

Prepare a conversation in a minute. The agent reads back email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, your ATS and earlier conversations.

Written by Robin Alcedo Overbosch

The Meeting Prep Agent prepares your next conversation: who you're talking to, what has been discussed and which questions to ask. Useful for a screening, interview or client meeting, and when you stand in for a colleague.

Before you start

  • Your calendar is connected (through your mailbox in Settings › Channels).

  • Your AI assistant is connected to Hyre. See Connect Hyre to Claude.

Step by step

  1. Choose how to start it:

    • One meeting: go to Calendar, click the event and click Meeting Prep Agent. The button is also on a card in the Agenda view.

    • Your upcoming meetings: click Meeting Prep Agent at the top of Calendar. The agent then picks your next meetings itself.

    • Or start it from the Agents page under Power agents.

The Meeting Prep Agent button at the top of the calendar

  2. Your AI assistant opens with the meeting filled in. Send the prompt.

  3. The agent reads everything back: email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, your ATS or CRM and earlier conversations with this person. It takes about a minute.

  4. For each meeting you get: when it is, a short summary of who you're meeting, what has been discussed and prepared questions.

Good to know

  • Start it fifteen minutes before your meeting and read it five minutes before.

  • The prep is only as good as what's known about the person. When the participant is linked to a candidate or contact in Hyre, the agent also uses ATS data and earlier transcripts.

  • Start je dag already gives a short prep for each meeting every morning. Use the Meeting Prep Agent when you want to go deeper.

  • See Prep with AI instead of Meeting Prep Agent? The agent isn't available to you, and the button sends a general prompt to your assistant. That prepares the meeting too.
