In Hyre a person always runs in at most one campaign at a time. That way nobody gets two of your sequences mixed together.
How it works
Someone sits on one campaign board at a time. If you add them to a second campaign that is running, they move to the new campaign and stop in the old one. In the old campaign they then show as Removed.
Don't want that? In the new campaign's Targeting, turn on People already in a campaign. The new campaign then skips people who already run somewhere. Or People already on another pipeline, for people already on another board.
Putting someone back in a campaign (with Move back to sequence or Include again) doesn't work while they sit in another campaign. Hyre names that campaign: "This member is in "
". Delete them from that campaign first; that deletion is for good." Remove them there first.
A finished or archived campaign counts too, because it can still hold scheduled tasks.
Moving someone to another campaign on purpose
The most common case: someone replies "not now" and you want them in your reactivation campaign. 1. Open the conversation in your Inbox. 2. Click Campaigns at the top right. You see which campaign the person is in now, and their state. 3. Pick the reactivation campaign. The person moves; nothing more goes to them from the old campaign.
Note: a campaign that isn't live sends nothing, even if Hyre says the person was added. And a running campaign tops up at most once an hour, so the first step can take a while.
Avoid contacting someone twice
In your list: when importing, turn on the filters for people already in your inbox, in a teammate's inbox or in another list.
In your campaign: use People already in a campaign, People I've talked to and Only people with no message since.
For the whole organization: use Settings › Exclusions. See Exclusions.
Teammates: Hyre only sees your own campaigns. A teammate can have the same person in their own campaign. Agree who reaches whom, or use the teammate inbox filter when importing.
