Read your campaign stats

What the numbers in Outreach mean: the funnel per campaign, Stats, acceptance rate and answers rate, and why they sometimes look odd.

Written by Robin Alcedo Overbosch

Outreach shows how far each campaign has got and what it brings in. That tells you when to adjust.

Before you start

  • You have at least one campaign that has launched.

Per campaign: the row and the funnel

In Outreach › Campaigns each row shows: - Recipients: how many people have entered the campaign, out of the total. "64 of 111" means 64 of the 111 people are in. - Done: how many people finished the sequence (had the last step, replied, request withdrawn or an error).

Click the arrow in front of the row to open the funnel. It has seven cards:

Card

Requested

Connection request sent

Accepted

Request accepted

Messaged

Received at least one message

Answered

Replied

Withdrawn

Didn't accept, request withdrawn

The Stats overview

Go to Outreach › Stats and pick a period: From start, Last 12 months, Last 8 weeks, Last 14 days or Last 24 hours.

The Outreach Stats overview

  • Account overview: your number of connections and contacts.

  • Connections: new connections per day, your total, and which day of the week requests are accepted most.

  • Live outreach: messages sent, Acceptance rate and Answers rate.

  • A funnel per campaign with the same numbers.

How to read the percentages

  • Acceptance rate = accepted divided by requests sent. Above 30% is good. Around 20%: look at your list and your note. Below 10%: change your targeting, also for the health of your account.

  • Answers rate = replies divided by people who got a message.

Good to know

  • The percentages cover the whole lifetime. The period you pick doesn't change them. Filter on campaigns to count only those; the page says how many campaigns it counted.

  • The Answers rate can go above 100%. Someone counts as answered on any incoming message after they joined, even when they reply to your connection request before your first message went out. Hyre shows the number as it is.

  • Replies to InMails are not counted. Hyre can't see them.

  • An empty cell means "not loaded yet", not zero.

  • What to do with the numbers? Low acceptance: a better list or note. Acceptance but few replies: different messages, see Give feedback on your campaign.
