The Draft Agent prepares a draft reply for messages you still need to answer. It also looks at your ATS and at earlier conversations with that person. At the end of the day your replies are ready: you read them and click send.
Before you start
Your AI assistant (Claude recommended) is connected to Hyre. The Draft Agent runs there.
Your tone of voice is right under Settings › Tone of voice.
Step by step
Open the Inbox and click Draft Agent at the top left.
Your AI assistant opens with the Draft Agent. Start it. Optionally say which channel and period, such as "LinkedIn, last 24 hours", or how to respond ("for a decline, thank them briefly; for interest, send my booking link").
The agent finds unanswered messages and writes a draft per conversation. If there is nothing to do, it says so.
Back in Hyre, the drafts sit with the conversation, at the bottom in the reply box, and in the Drafts folder of LinkedIn, WhatsApp or your mailbox.
Open the conversation, read the draft, edit where needed and click Send.
Running it automatically
Want a draft to be ready whenever you open a chat? Set the Draft Agent as a routine, for example every hour or every morning. Do this on the Agents page with Set up routines. Routines run in the Claude desktop app and need a paid Claude account.
Cleaning up drafts
In every Drafts folder each draft has a checkbox. Tick one or more and choose Discard to delete them. On email the draft is also removed from Gmail or Outlook. This cannot be undone.
Good to know
The Draft Agent never sends by itself. It only prepares drafts.
It does not overwrite your own draft. If you already started a reply, it leaves that conversation alone.
Works for LinkedIn, InMail, WhatsApp and email. Email drafts also appear in your Gmail or Outlook Drafts folder.
The Draft Agent beats AI reply in the reply box, because it also takes your ATS and other touchpoints into account.
On email drafts the agent can attach files (PDF, Word, PNG or JPEG, up to 5 files).
Drafts are kept for 30 days after the last edit.
No drafts? Check that your AI assistant is connected and that you started the agent or set it as a routine.
